We were delighted to have Mr. Osama Fahmy, Global CEO of GIT-ZONE International and Chairman of GIT-WAY International, speak at the main panel of the IATF 2025 Investment Forum on September 7th. in Algeria.
The discussion, “Launch of Brand Africa Algeria – Building Leading Homegrown Brands and the Made in Africa story,” focused on the vast opportunities for transformational growth across the continent. Mr. Fahmy was joined by a group of distinguished speakers, including:
– Godfrey Mutizwa, Editor of CNBC Africa.
– Mr. Raed ASHHAB, GM of Algeria OU, Savola Foods.
During his address, Mr. Fahmy highlighted that joint ventures and local manufacturing are the real engines of shared growth. And then came the vision: “If we align rules and customs, we can move closer to a United States of Africa,” Mr. Osama added. A dream of a seamless market where African goods flow as freely as ambition.
With Gulf investors bringing billions, and frameworks like the AfCFTA opening doors, the opportunity for growth in Africa is immense. The key question, as Mr. Fahmy noted, is how quickly the continent can build the systems to match its incredible potential.
